Book Review: The Ragwitch

The Ragwitch
Author: Garth Nix
Genre: Fantasy Adventure
Rating: 9/10

This was a great book. It was creative in a simple way, the characters were well developed, and meshed well giving it good quality. The plot was great, eventful, and had a number of twists to make it interesting and a little unpredictable. It didn't quite hook me like Sabriel did, but then again I hadn't read any fantasy for months before Sabriel.

Nix strikes again!

hey, is the plot line anywhere simliar to Sabriel? What I mean is, will I like it if I liked Sabriel?

Well...Nix is a good writer, his books stay interesting, the goals were different but still action packed. I liked it, and it's compareable to Sabriel...I'm awnsering this bad.

Here:
"From the author of Abhorsen comes classic fantasy set in a world dominated by the Ragwitch, a being of sinister, destructive intent.

"Quiet, easy going Paul never expected to be cast in the role of savior. But his strong-willed sister, Julia, has come under the thall of the Ragwitch, and Paul himself is drawn not only to the creature's world but into a attle for Julia's very existence-as well as his own." -From the back of the book.

I never was that good with literature type questions. Be more specific if you can.
