Movie Reviews
King Kong
Genre: Action Adventure Drama
Rating: 9/10
This was an excellent movie. The characters were well developed, action scenes well played, graphics good, and sound fantastic. The only problem I have with it is, yet again, it's been re-released like 100 times.
Akira
Genre: Anime Sci-fi Adventure
Rating: 9/10
This was yet another futureistic anime movie that I watched. It was good, the storyline was well laid out, characters were swell, and the action was ok. It's an older movie, I think, and the quality of picture wasn't as good as it is today. It was kind of predictable. Also on the version I have the dubbing was off key, so it was like one of those chineese/japaneese movies where the lips just aren't right.
The Ring of the Nibelungs
Genre: Fantasy Adventure Drama
Rating: 8/10
This was a pretty good movie; it was interesting and had a good story line. The only problem was that at a certain point, seemingly early in the movie, all the action died down. This ruined the effect of having a climactic point in the story. It also gave it the effect of it becoming more of a drama film. Because it became more of a drama, it required a certain level of care or connectivity to the characters, and I had little of that even at the end of the movie. Things also seemed a little left open at the end, and I had to assume that the tragedy of the story was a result of something I shouldn't say because it may ruin the movie.
Spirited Away
Genre: Anime Feel-Good Fantasy
Rating: 7/10
These anime movies are strange. Not in their subject matter, but in the way the film is. It has very little climactic point in it and things just happened in a barely eventful way. Somehow though it manages to keep me interested, and I don’t feel like I wasted my time after watching it. I don’t quite get.

I went to rent one time, but they wanted a credit card, and nothing is convienient to my location and route of travel...well there is a blockbuster on my way home. But c'mon who wants to look for movies, after 8 hours work, starving, and tired. Not me!
It drove me insane for a couple minutes, thinking that the video had to be 're-synced', which is common when watching a movie on my pc, due to the fact that I tend to leave my computer on for weeks at a time, getting this and that off the net.
Ya I think its part of that 'feel-good' genre type that seems to unexistantly exist(its not exactly a hollywood genre I dont think).
